Genoa, Maersk returns to the Sech Terminal

Genoa - Yesterday afternoon, the Port of Genoa’s Sech terminal received its first ship from Maersk Line’s ME2 service. The Danish company was returning to Sech after several years elsewhere. The ship that called was the Maersk Senang, at 7,250 TEU, 318m long and 40m wide.

The rotation of the service that is o nce again calling at the historical Genoese terminal is Port Said East, Marsaxlokk, Tangier, Algeciras, Valencia, Marseille Fos, Genoa, Port Said West and East, Jeddah, Salalah, Jebel Ali, Dammam, Jubail, Abu Dhabi, Jebel Ali, Salalah, Jeddah and Port Said East again.

The service is being conducted with seven ships of the same size, and is the Maersk Group’s flagship rotation in the Northern Tyrrhenian Sea.
