Hamburg - Ocean 7 Projects and United Heavy Lift, two players in the market for heavy sea transport, are opening a joint office in Bergen, Norway. Both companies specialize in the transport of heavy, project and breakbulk cargo. Both companies have extensive heavy lift carrier fleets that complement each other.

“I am happy to be having this opportunity to work together with Ocean 7, we have had conversations about cooperating a few years ago and now finally we see it happen. Norway is a very strategic place for us to be,” said Lars Rolner, ceo of United Shipping Group.

“We have always had the mindset of working together and this cooperation will enhance our ability of offering a wider scope to our customers in the future.” The two transport specialist will be able to cover all market segments of their industry through their cooperation in the new office, offer their customers an even larger and more diverse overall fleet, and make their combined know-how and experience available.
