Marseille - Marseille prosecutor Franck Lagier has demanded a fine of 100,000 euros, of which 80,000 will be paid by the shipowner Carnival Corporation and 20,000 by Captain Evans Hoyt, for the polluting emissions of the cruise ship P&O Azura. The owner and the captain are accused of using a fuel that contained excessive levels of sulfur. The court will decide on November 26 whether to condemn them.
