Genoa - The lawyer Alberto Galassi, the president of Piaggio Aeroindustries, will become the C.E.O. of the Ferretti group at some point in the next few days. Ferretti is a leading company in the high-end yachting sector. He will be replacing Ferruccio Rossi. His appointment will soon be announced officially.
Galassi was made C.E.O. of Piaggio in 2009, but last May, after the change of ownership in the company (it is now controlled by Mubadala, which holds over 98%), he became the company’s president, and seemingly will remain so. The Ferretti group owns the Ferretti, Pershing, Itama, Bertram, Riva, Mochi Craft and CRN brands.
