Decarbonisation of maritime transport: conference in Genoa on 31 May

“Towards a low-carbon shipping industry / Maritime transport and the environment: ideas, projects, investments”

Genoa - The Shipowners and Shipbuilding Forum is back. The 2021 edition will take place in hybrid format (physical presence and digital connections) on May 31st, from 9 to 13.30, and will be broadcast live from our multimedia studio. This is the title of the Forum: “Towards a low-carbon shipping industry / Maritime transport and the environment: ideas, projects, investments”.

There are two main work sessions. The first will be entitled "From the shipyard to the sea: this is how transport becomes sustainable", the second "Ports and decarbonisation: the other half of the journey".

Decarbonisation of transport and land infrastructures, alternative fuels, reduction of emissions, new technologies and opportunities offered by the Recovery Plan: there are many topics that the main players in the sector will explain to the audience. The Forum has become the main Italian shipping event. In past editions, an average of three hundred professionals enrolled in the work.
