Too many cancellations: the departure of MSC Magnifica postponed to 26 September

"MSC Cruises is confident that bookings will return to growth in the coming weeks thanks to the charm of the proposed itinerary."

Geneva - MSC Cruises announced today that unfortunately it will have to postpone the departure of MSC Magnifica to next September 26th. Due to the recent introduction of further tests for Italian citizens who went to Greece, and the fact that the ship's itinerary includes three Greek ports of call, the company is experiencing numerous cancellations and a decline in demand. For these reasons, MSC has taken the decision to postpone the departure of the ship for four weeks.

"MSC Cruises is confident that bookings will return to growth in the coming weeks thanks to the charm of the proposed itinerary. Sales of MSC Magnifica are open to Schengen area residents, although it is expected that in this first phase of restarting operations most of the guests will be citizens and residents of Italy ". The first cruise will depart from Bari, Italy, with the same itinerary, on September 26th.
