Genoa – “The scenario is still evolving, but there are more certainties than a few months ago, which allowed us to redesign our offer until the end of 2022, in order to consolidate our presence in all the areas in which we operate. In summer 2021 we will use four ships, Costa Smeralda, Costa Luminosa, Costa Deliziosa and Costa Firenze, all in the Mediterranean. Our guests will visit Italy, Greece, France and Spain with convenient and close to home destinations, to meet the current need for proximity tourism. Already from the end of September, with the return to service of Costa Diadema and Costa Fascinosa, we will have a gradual return of more distant destinations, such as Turkey and Portugal”, Mario Zanetti, general manager of Costa Cruises, told the online newspaper Shipmag.
“In the winter 2021-22 season - continues Zanetti - we will also have the new flagship Costa Toscana available, and we will re-propose the most popular cruises of our winter offer: Caribbean, South America, United Arab Emirates, Canary Islands and the World Tour. During the 2022 summer season, we will have the 3 most innovative ships in the fleet - Costa Firenze, Costa Smeralda and Costa Toscana - in the western Mediterranean, another 3 ships in the eastern part of the Mediterranean, and 4 ships in Northern Europe”.
