Barbone is the new vice President of Wärtsilä

Helsinki - Trieste-born Pierpaolo Barbone, 58, is the new vice president of the Finnish Wärtsilä Group. From 1 November, Barbone will be “Deputy to the C.E.O.” for the group’s new chief, Jaako Eskola, who is replacing Bjárn Rosengren. Since 2013, Barbone has been the chief of the group’s service area, which brings in about 40% of the group’s revenue.
