Tarocco (Nova Systems): “We have contributed over time to the evolution of the sector”
“Business competitiveness and respect for the environment are at the heart of a new way of thinking about transportation”

What is your business about? “Nova Systems is an Italian IT company with over 40 years of experience in supply chain software solutions and branches with companies also in Spain and Malta. We have contributed over time to the evolution of the sector and today we are committed to supporting new challenges for companies, including sustainability and digitization, to connect businesses with the rest of the world. About this we will present at the Munich Transport Logistic fair the new global solution BeOne, a worldwide software developed to promote business growth”, Riccardo Tarocco, President of Nova System, said.
What are your thoughts on the quality of logistics services offered by Italy?
“After the heavy setbacks suffered as a result of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the logistics market in Italy has been able to react. We are seeing this with our own eyes. Companies are increasingly aiming to improve the high standards of their services. In this regard, digitizing processes is now the necessary precondition to be competitive in a fast-moving and ever-changing system. With BeOne we are involved in optimizing the workflows, resources and energies of our clients, providing the useful tools to better plan every business activity”.
What investments have you made or planned in sustainability?
“Business competitiveness and respect for the environment are at the heart of a new way of thinking about transportation. A point of view of which we interpret through the BeOne software, as part of Green Computing. In the meantime, the photovoltaic system that makes our server farm completely autonomous, energy-wise, has come into full operation. We are talking about our beating heart, which ensures the operation of IT services for companies around the world, 24/7, 365 days a year. For every new contract we sign, we also purchase trees that are planted in the municipality where our headquarters are located, in Verona. Other initiatives will be presented soon”.
How much does professional training affect your industry today?
“In a market characterized by continuous technological innovations, professional training becomes a priority. To enable our customers to be more competitive, we have launched the NovAcademy project, the training facility established by Nova Systems. Courses are held throughout the year and can also take place online, with specific meetings for logisticians and freight forwarders who aim to consolidate the skills of their employees”.
