Sardinia Port Authority, Budget Clearance
Rome - The budget is aimed at ensuring adequate resources to complete the ongoing projects.
Rome - The Management Committee of the Port System Authority of the Sardinian Sea unanimously approved the its 2018 budget. It is the first of the new AdSPs created by last year’s Italian port reform law to approve a budget, and will cover the ports of Cagliari, Olbia, Porto Torres, Golfo Aranci, Oristano, Portoscuso-Portovesme and Santa Teresa di Gallura. The new entity’s first financial document was drawn up in close collaboration between the offices in Cagliari and Olbia, merging the accounting data from the suppressed Port Authorities of Cagliari and Northern Sardinia. The AdSP has pointed out that the budget is aimed at ensuring adequate resources to complete the ongoing projects in two former port authorities’ ports, and above all, to ensure that necessary action is taken to implement safety measures in the newly acquired ports. In fact, specific changes to the budget will be planned in 2018 for Oristano, Portovesme and Santa Teresa di Gallura, with appropriations for all expenditure items, and the collection of the revenue for those ports, which will make them totally operational.
