Ancona, “Charge” Project Begins

Ancona - The EU’s CHARGE project is now operational. It’s aim is to improve intermodal services between the two shores of the Adriatic. In fact, the meeting of the CHARGE project (Capitalization and Harmonization of the Adriatic Region Gate of Europe), with funding provided as part of the “Maritime Transport” Priority 4 of the Italy-Croatia European territorial cooperation program, was held at the premises of the Port System Authority of the Northern Adriatic Sea. The program’s objective is to improve intermodal services along maritime connections between the two shores of the Adriatic Sea. During the meeting, technical aspects of the project were discussed and planned, and the handling of the administrative, financial and communication stages were outlined.
