Tasso appointed as IB USA new C.E.O.

Genova - The Board of IB USA announces the appointment of Gabriele Tasso as the new CEO taking effect as of 4 June, 2018. Gabriele Tasso, aged 36, is a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer who is highly experienced in shipping maintenance processes, failure analysis, machinery efficiency analysis, planning and workloads, asset downtime management, risk assessment and FMECA analysis.

Previously Sales Manager at IB headquarters, Gabriele is taking over from Alessandro Canepa, IB Usa CEO, who will be returning to IB Headquarters in Italy and states: “I am extremely pleased that Gabriele has accepted the Board’s invitation to become the CEO in Sunrise (FL). We believe that his in-depth knowledge in the fleet management sector, coupled with his technical superintendent experience, will be a great benefit to our customers in terms of support and consultancy.
