Ocean Alliance enters into its fourth phase

The groups' executives have signed an agreement that launches the Ocean Alliance Day 4 Product, that should further strengthen the four companies's service offer.

Marseille - The "Ocean Alliance" between the container shipping liners CMA CGM, COSCO, Evergreen and OOCL enters into the fourth phase of its cooperation programme. The groups' executives have signed an agreement that launches the Ocean Alliance Day 4 Product, that should further strengthen the four companies's service offer.

The new offer will start in April 2020, with more port calls, more direct links and better transit times, thus reinforcing their competitiveness. With the Day 4 Product, the customers should benefit from an optimized, ever-more tailored service offering with:

Customers will have a  more comprehensive service offer on the Transpacific trade with 19 services, a stronger offer between Asia and Europe with 7 services, a larger offer between Asia and the Mediterranean with 4 services, 2 Transatlantic services linking North Europe to the East Coast of the United States and the Gulf of Mexico, 4 services between Asia and the Middle East, 2 Asia-Red Sea services.

Launched in the spring of 2017, Ocean Alliance is the world’s largest operational agreement between shipping companies.
