Izmir - Arkas Line is set to enhance its operations in the West Africa trade lane by providing services entirely with its own fleet, expanding its network in the region and increasing operational efficiency. Arkas Line has been expanding and strengthening its African operations since launching them in 2012. Following its recent expansion into India with the India Med Service, Arkas Line will now operate the West Africa Service (WAS) exclusively with its own vessels.
As part of this new structure, four vessels - “Mario A”, “Cristina A”, “Jean Pierre A” and “Diane A”, each with a capacity of 1,600 TEU - will serve the West Africa trade lane. Leveraging its extensive operational expertise, high service quality, and strong experience in West Africa, Arkas Line aims to offer a more competitive and efficient maritime transport service with this new setup. The updated West Africa Service route -Tangier - Casablanca - Dakar - Lagos (Tincan / Apapa) - Tema - Abidjan - Nouakchott - Tangier - supports Arkas Line’s sustainable growth strategy.
