Sarnico - It is called Rivamare, and its design tips its hat to sports cars. Rivamare is the latest creation of the Riva house, and was introduced today at Sarnico, on Lake Iseo, by Ferretti Group C.E.O. Alberto Galassi. “We watched the entire design and construction process of this masterpiece with excitement. We at the Ferretti Group plan to continue Carlo Riva’s dream through this boat: always to build the most beautiful boat,” he said. The new speedboat, which is 11.88 metres, is a “worthy heir” to the Riva tradition. “The unique style of the Riva models combined with the most sophisticated technological innovations.” Built in the Sarnico shipyard, the new model was created through a collaboration with Officina Italiana Design, and Ferretti’s Engineering Department and Strategic Product Committee. The speedboat is equipped with a pair of Volvo Penta D6 400 engines, each with 400 hp.
