Huawei opens logistics centre in the Netherlands
Rotterdam - Telecom company Huawei is to open a logistics centre in Eindhoven, about 100 kilometres south of the port of Rotterdam.
Rotterdam - Telecom company Huawei is to open a logistics centre in Eindhoven, about 100 kilometres south of the port of Rotterdam. The company announced this in the Chinese city of Shenzhen. Huawei views the Netherlands as an ideal gateway to Europe and is looking for a connection with Eindhoven’s high-tech sector. The new logistics centre in Eindhoven will be used for the storage and European distribution of ICT products and smart phones, which Huawei outsources to the Dutch branch of DHL. As of 1 May 2015 a three-year contract will take effect. The warehouse space to be used covers 10,000 square metres and will be extended if necessary.
