Nova Systems, optimal cash flow management

Genoa - Financial commitments handled directly from a firm’s management structure. This is now possible thanks to the new cash flow IT module BeOne Cloud Forwarding Suite, Nova Systems’ software solution designed for the world of international shipping for companies, customs, transport and logistics. “Cash Flow determines future changes to a company’s liquidity as a result of management interventions, over a specific period of analysis,” explains Filippo Barbieri, Software Application Specialist at Nova Systems. “Until now, operators used Excel to monitor industry revenue and financial outputs, however, with the new integrated feature in BeOne you can monitor expenditure and revenue and therefore streamline business management, preventing possible problems linked to the lack of liquidity.”

The BeOne Cash Flow is the most recent product developed at Nova Systems Development Centre, and represents a breakthrough in the field of international forwarding and logistics: “Functionality is integrated with accounting, management control and customs, procedures are updated automatically by the software, so there’s greater data security because the possibility of human error is eliminated,” continues Barbieri, “The analysis of flows from individual business activities is also essential to understand the causes of cash flow changes at the corporate level and to identify possible actions to be taken in order to achieve financial goals.”

Among other features built into Nova Systems software is connectivity to home banking and, as part of Business Intelligence, the monitoring by management of those dashboards related exclusively to management control and accounting. Through the Turnover dashboard it’s possible to analyze revenues, broken down by customer, by transaction, by account, by invoice or by branch, check accounts for accounting or for analytical purposes; with the Analytics dashboard, it is possible to control revenues and operating costs, both direct and general, while with the Finance dashboard the fiscal budget can be examined. “In this way, customers can check all data, both numerically and graphically,” says Barbieri. “Our Development Centre is constantly working to identify cutting-edge technological solutions, ensuring that the BeOne platform is constantly evolving to better serve our customers.”
