Barcelona - Venice received a harsh ultimatum from Seatrade Med of Barcelona yesterday. “We want answers, and fast, we must find a solution in a hurry.” These were the words of David Dingle, the C.E.O. of Carnival Group, the largest cruise ship company in the world which also includes within it the brand Costa Crociere.

Dingle got into the substance of the large ships issue in Venice. Carnival’s chief needs to find a solution to the problem no matter what corner it comes from, even if he himself prefers the Contorta Sant’Angelo Canal option. But it is necessary “to proceed with the dredging quickly,” Dingle pointed out.
