Summer in Autumn !
Geneva - With MSC Cruises, you can discover fascinating places and enjoy the pleasures of an everlasting springtime.
VACATIONS do not end when summer ends. With MSC Cruises, you can discover fascinating places and enjoy the pleasures of an everlasting springtime. The colours of the desert, the perfumes of the souks of Marrakech and Agadir, the magic of crystal clear seas: how many emotions can you experience during a cruise? MSC Armonia takes you on a trip filled with adventure, discovery and fascination, with two weekly services from November to April 2015. You will be delighted with the sand dunes, the green forests, the blue waters and the snow-capped volcanoes; you will be immersed in rocky landscapes and luxurious plantations of tropical fruits. The first tour that starts at Las Palmas in Gran Canaria will take travellers to Morocco with two marvellous stop overs: Casablanca, city of sacred mosques and colourful bazaars, and Agadir, an oasis of peace famous among surfers around the world and facing the unspoiled nature of the Anti-Atlas mountains and the Sahara desert. Casablanca is the cultural and economic capital and the most Westernized city of Morocco. It is a place rich in diverse traditions, reflected in the beauty of the avenues, the parks, the fountains and the colonial architecture, the splendid mosque of Hassan II, the largest of the country that breaks tradition and allows entry to non-Muslim visitors, and the Museum of Moroccan Judaism which is unique in the Islamic world. On the other hand, Agadir is a coastal tourist city, away from the hustle and bustle typical of Moroccan cities, with sandy beaches, beach bars and a Western atmosphere. After the fascinating stops in Morocco, MSC Armonia will head to the Canary Islands with a first stop at Arrecife de Lanzarote, that displays breathtaking and unique scenery, thanks to the volcanic origins of the island, which in some parts is covered in lava and ash. There you will be able to enjoy long walks along the promenade and shopping in the commercial centre of Calle Real. Before returning to Las Palmas, it will touch on Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, that offers perfect beaches and climate; the Santa Cruz port is a bustling capital filled with museums and cultural entertainment. On the other hand, the second tour of the MSC Armonia offers stopovers at the Canary Islands, Santa Cruz de la Palma, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Puerto del Rosario and its wonderful beaches on the Atlantic ocean, with a route that will take travellers to Madeira, in Portugal, and in particular to its capital Funchal which is located in a unique area. The geological formation creates a natural amphitheatre that surrounds the entire city. It reaches 1,200 meters on the highest slopes. Historically a natural refuge, this is a must-see. On board the MSC Armonia, every moment is a unique opportunity to discover fascinating cultures and enchanting natural landscapes.
