Olbia hosts the Med Cruise Assembly

Olbia - From 14 to 17 October, Olbia will host an important event, the 47th general assembly of MedCruise, the association that represents the Mediterranean’s cruise ship ports. The Port Authority of Northern Sardinia has been part of Med Cruise since 2011, an agreement that came up suddenly as a strategic transition for the development of cruise ship tourism in Olbia that now achieves significant tourist figures. The event will see the participation of 75 European ports.

The Port Authority is taking care of all the organizational details. The show is very important for the economy of Northern Sardinia, which for some time has been aiming for the development of this tourist sector. During the assembly there will be discussion of the development of the sector and of China as a new and interesting tourist market. There will be no shortage of meetings dedicated to the business and many workshops.
