The latter has a capacity of 1,500 passengers, 2,000 linear meters of heavy vehicles, in addition to 100 cars (or 550 cars). Measuring 212 meters, the “Zeus Palace” has 202 ensuite cabins equipped and air conditioning and 215 reclining seats.

Passengers can enjoy many facilities on board, such as a pool, a wellness centre, a cafeteria-style and full-service restaurant, three bars, a boutique, a games room and a kids’ play room. In the coming weeks also on the Livorno-Olbia route, Grimaldi Group will add alongside the two ro/pax vessels a Eurocargo class ro/ro to meet the needs of cargo customers. Next, on April 18, will be Civitavecchia’s turn to have a new daily link launched between Civitavecchia-Olbia, employing the vessel Cruise Olbia.

As far as the summer 2016 season fares are concerned, Grimaldi Lines will offer several different promotional fares on all its passenger fares to and from Sardinia, for the April 8 - November 30 travel period.

Finally, as a response to its recent strengthening plan across Sardinia, Grimaldi Group has recently established, in partnership with the Group’s agents based in this region, Mec Shipping and Carimar, its own agency called Grimaldi Sardinia srl, with a registered office in Cagliari and operational sites, besides the Sardinian capital, also in the ports of Porto Torres and Olbia. The agency, with a staff of about 30 employees, all Sardinians, will manage the commercial and operational services of the Group in Sardinia.
