Japan’s shipbuilding orders up
Tokyo - According to Shipbuilders Association of Japan the demand for ship plate will reach 2.71 million tons this year.
Tokyo - Japan’s shipbuilding industry has received number of substantial contracts this Japan’s shipbuilding orders upyear. Total new export orders of ships undertook by shipbuilding enterprises in Japan amounted to 27.72 million tonnes or 658 vessels this year ended March.
The amount of export orders was 16.49 million tonnes in the previous fiscal year. According to Shipbuilders Association of Japan the demand for ship plate will reach 2.71 million tons this year.
