New contract with Kleven Verft AS

London - Olympic Shipping AS has entered into a new contract with Kleven Verft AS for building of an IMR vessel with MT6021 design. The MK2 design is a further development of the MT 6021 design.

“This contract further confirms Olympic’s market position as one of the leading ship owners in the subsea segment. The investment is approx. 450 mill and delivery of the vessel will be June 2015. The design by Marin Teknikk is new and developed in cooperation with Olympic, with high focus on efficient and environmental friendly solutions. The vessel is equipped with 80 metric ton offshore crane, ROV hangars, and accomodation capacity of 80 people. The sister-vessel with MT 6021 design with delivery in March 2015, has been signed to a contract with Bibby Offshore for 3 years with options for an additonal 3 years”. stated the company in a note.
