25th anniversary for CSA

Milan - On 12th June, at the Villa Castelbarco in Vaprio D’Adda in the Province of Milan, CSA and Central Shipping Agency will celebrate twenty-five years of business in the groupage sector for freight forwarders, in the company sector, and in logistics. In 1990 Pietro Luigi Amighetti, Paolo Bonucchi, Franco Minichino and Matteo Lacerenza founded the Central Shipping Agency, starting from an office in a small apartment. With professionalism, dedication, commitment and luck, they succeeded in winning the confidence of many clients and foreign “partners,” creating a first-rate network and growing from the 12 destinations that they served in 1990 to the current 74 for exports and 35 for imports.

In the same year, with Francesco Bisaschi, they also founded T.I.E. (Trasporti Intermodali Europei) which has grown from 10 secondhand lorries in 1990 to own 230 cutting-edge lorries today, with branch offices in Italy and in Koper. In the meantime, CSA was created with Fabio Selmi for the management of liner and ship services and also in the same sector, the company now represents Dole Ocean Liner Express in Europe, while in Italy it is the agency for Hyundai Merchant Marine, X-Press, Eagle, Tropical, Great White Fleet, United Feeder Service, Unifeeder, NMT Shipping, Riada Shipping and more.

The growth of the organisation in Italian territory allows the company to focus on other core businesses: in the tourist sector, in rhe port terminal sector and in 2008 with the decision to invest in buying a warehouse for the exclusive use of its own groupage services for freight forwarders for both imports and exports. In the meantime the company opened foreign offices in Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg, Koper, Tunis and South Africa with multifunctional activities, covering the core business of groupage, ship services and liner agency.
