Grimaldi acquires stake in Autoterminal

Naples - The Grimaldi Group has acquired through Automar (led by Costantino Baldissara and jointly owned by Grimaldi: 40%, Bertani: 40%, Mercurio: 20%) a 50% stake in Autoterminal Gioia Tauro. The car terminal had been, until now, wholly owned by Germany’s BLG Logistics. The Gioia Tauro facility comprises a 320 thousand square metre car terminal located in the Calabrian port. “Given the prospects for growth in automobile transport, it’s likely that in the future we’ll expand our terminals,” says Manuel Grimaldi, CEO at the eponymous shipping group.
