Interporto Sud Europa, tenders launched

Caserta - A call for tenders for the expansion project of its multimodal terminal was posted on the Interporto Sud Europa (ISE) website, with 26 April as the closing date. The project involves the rail area of the terminal, slated for a doubling of its intake and delivery tracks, to increase to a total of six, with an adjustment of the length up to 750 metres, as per European standard, as well as the construction of an underpass. “Going forward with the project means a further strengthening of the importance of this logistics platform, which has huge potentials to unlock,” said ISE President, Antonio Salvatore De Biasio. The project is valued at over €10 million, including about €200,000 for safety, and should be completed in about 18 months after the awarding of the contract.
