Venice, double link to Frankfurt

Venice - The German company Lokomotion Rail, has introduced a new pair of trains on the freight rail link between Venice and Frankfurt, on behalf of DB Cargo. They were originally meant to be used on the Bologna-Frankfurt line.

Traction for the service, which now calls for two weekly departures in either direction, will be provided by DB Cargo itself on the Frankfurt-Munich route, while on the following section that reaches Venice (Fusina Terminal) via the Brenner Pass, traction will be provided by Lokomotion Rail and Rail Traction Company (RTC).
