Venice, Visentini on VTP’s board
Venice - The regional development corporation Veneto Sviluppo announcedthe two people appointed to the board of directors of the Venezia Terminal Passeggeri [i.e. Venice Passenger Terminal], in which it owns a stake. The two new board members are shipowner Giovanni Visentini, who is president of Visentini Giovanni Trasporti Fluviomarittimi, and Filippo Olivetti, who is the president of Aloschi & Bassani and C.E.O. of Bassani, as well as being a member of the Presidency Council for Infrastructure at Confindustria Venezia Rovigo. Appointments also came at APVS, the company which in its own right controls 53% of VTP.
In fact, the meeting also saw new appointments of the board of directors, who will remain in office for three fiscal years and to which the regional development corporation appointed the two members it is entitled to appoint.
The vacancies in question were because of outgoing board member and new APVS President Luciano Giovanni Greco, who is Professor of Financial Science in Padua, and Riccardo Rocca. The third member, representing minority shareholders, is MSC chief, Pierfrancesco Vago.
