Livorno, Alp restructuring completed

Livorno - The process of restructuring ALP, the monopoly agency for the provision of temporary labour in the port, can be declared definitively completed. The assembly of shareholders on 11 May ratified a budget that for the first time saw profits of over €100,000 (without any public contribution), and noted the consolidation of monthly shifts which went from 250 in January 2016 to over 1,000, stabilising above 1,500 with peaks at 2,000, with a consequent near zeroing of the use of the IMA bonus, compensation for failure to start paid by the Ministry of Labour with public funds. And the cherry on top of this positive situation: ALP, which was near bankruptcy in November 2014, with 60 jobs at stake, is hiring the 16 Intempo workers who showed the greatest commitment and reliability over the past few years.
